He will write the libretto for the new participatory opera dedicated to the brothers Gaetano and Giuseppe Donizetti, aimed at the young audience of Donizetti Opera festival.

The committee, which selected him from among twelve candidates, was composed of the artistic and musical director of Donizetti Opera Riccardo Frizza and Luca Baccolini (journalist, music critic and author), Vincenzo De Vivo (artistic director, librettist and leading figure in the Italian opera scene), Michela Mannari (head of educational projects at Donizetti Opera), Antonio Moccia (Chief editor of Casa Ricordi) and composer Marco Taralli. The latter will compose the music for the opera, based on a libretto by Baccolini, in a project that combines emerging creativity, participatory listening and the promotion of Donizetti’s heritage.
