Bottega Donizetti 2025: List of those admitted to in-person auditions published

The list of those admitted to the in-person auditions for the 2025 edition of Bottega Donizetti, the advanced training workshop for opera singers that the Donizetti Theatre Foundation organizes annually for young opera singers, has been published. This year, over 150 applications were received from 31 different countries, and the committee admitted 31 singers to the in-person auditions, which will be held on Monday, March 31, and Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

From among them, 6 participants will be chosen (2 sopranos, 1 mezzo-soprano, 1 tenor, 1 baritone, 1 bass/bass-baritone/baritone) who will take part in the production of the Donizetti Opera 2025 festival.

The 2025 edition of the advanced training workshop dedicated to Donizetti’s repertoire, curated by Giulio Zappa, will feature Riccardo Frizza, Alessandro Corbelli, and Cristiano Sandri.
